A lesbian parenting blog -- from conception through childbirth and beyond. Geared towards documenting our journey for our out of town friends and family.

Glad tidings...

What a fertility adventure we had! Our children were eventually conceived through in vitro fertilization and were born in the fall of 2009. Julie is the biological mother of both kids... Diana was the gestational mother for our son and Julie was the gestational mother for our daughter [the first couple of blog entries provides more detail]. Together, we are one lucky family!

Finally!

Ok, it it's been a itsy bit harder to keep up with the blog since Julie has gone back to work (hello to all you Ericsson and Sprint folks!)... that is to say, it's been a lot harder to keep up with just about everything since Julie went back to work. And now that Diana has started classes again, we make *no* promises. :-)

However, we understand the need for cuteness in everyone's lives, so below are a few close-up pictures of our beloved wee ones. Really, we are amazed that we can get anything done at all, since all we *want* to do is sit and stare and these amazing creatures all day.

And a happily nappy Koen

  1. Yes. Keeping up is hard. Our blog has practically gone extinct since T's arrival, and particularly since Jen went back to work and then I went back to work...These days we're lucky to get anything other than the essentials done. Those are some damn cute kiddos you've got there. I hope someday we can come out and meet them in person. T says "bay-beee" in a very adorable way now. :)
